Summary of Class Information
Cost:
$370 with $200 due at time of registration (first class day) and the remaining balance due by 3rd week of class or prior to
driving and a $10 non-refundable online driving schedule charge.
Classroom: 16 two-hour classroom lessons held
Monday
through Thursday (4 week course) or
Monday through Friday and 1 Saturday (3 week course)
Driving:
7 two-hour driving lessons once permit is obtained
Class
Times: 5 to 7 pm (Terrell)

- 6:30 or 6:30 - 8:30 (Mesquite)
5 to 7 pm (Forney)
Documents: You will need the following documents by the first week of class to obtain a permit
from the DPS office.
You DO NOT need
these to enroll in our course.
* A Verification of Enrollment form issued by the student's school
* An original birth certificate, and
* An original
social secuirty card
IMPORTANT NEW LAW TO OBTAIN A LICENSE
Parent Hours: TEA now requires 20 additional hours of behind-the-wheel driving will be monitored
by the parent or guardian and are not required to be provided by a licensed driver education school. However,
the hours must be completed in the presence of an adult who holds a valid license, is 21 or older, has at least one
year of driving experience, and occupying the seat next to the driver.
